At Power House, we rely heavily on our dedicated volunteers. These volunteers are committed to serving the youth of our community in many different ways. We are continually seeking new volunteers to assist in the following areas:

Requirements for Incoming Volunteers
As stated, volunteers are appreciated and the commitment level is completely up to you. The volunteer application can be found below and returned to Power House staff via drop off at the office or sent to the Director's email: [email protected]
Student engagement:
- Power Plant - After school engagement of students. M, T, TH: 3-6pm W: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
- Gap - Friday afternoons - 3:00pm - 5:30pm
- Life Skills Classes Includes: cooking classes, basic automotive maintenance, banking/budgeting, and hygiene. Commitment level: once a week or as available
- iCreate Lab - Teach music lessons to students. Recording capacity also available. Commitment level: once a week or as available
Building assistance:
- General building maintenance (general repair, plumbing, electrical, painting, ceiling repair, drywall repair) Commitment level: flexible/as needed
- Cleaning: sweeping, dusting, mopping, bathrooms Commitment level: once a week or as available
Behind the scenes:
- Bus Ride Along - At least one volunteer is needed to ride along with the staff member to pick up kids from school for programming.
- Meal Provider - Bring in a meal or cook for the students during the school year (see our calendar for days we offer programming). Please call office to coordinate meal drop off.
