Power Plant operates after school Monday-Thursday. Each day there are free snacks and a place to relax with friends. In this supervised environment, the teens can do homework, play games, play pool, watch TV, participate in special classes and workshops, play video games, and relax with friends. Most importantly, there are at least two adult role models who interact and develop relationships with the teens during this time. Having caring adults pour into the lives of the youth is crucial to our mission. These relationships also give us continuous insight into the current needs and relevant issues youth are dealing with. This enables us to base our special activities and program revisions around "real life" issues and needs.
HOmeWork Help
Here at the Power House we offer assistance to any student from 7th - 12th grade who needs help with any assignment or class. We do all this in a safe atmosphere where staff members help students succeed in their school life and other parts of their lives as well.
