The Power House is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all contributions are considered tax deductible according to the laws established for charitable donations.
Teenagers are a unique and substantial part of our population. They are seeking to define who they are, learning about the world around them, and taking steps toward independence. All youth, no matter their backgrounds, need positive influences in their lives. The Power House reaches out to these teens with positive activities, strong adult role models, and a safe environment. The Power House attracts teens from multitudes of backgrounds. For more information about the population we serve, visit The Power House’s History page. The need for support and consistency is present in most teens no matter where they come from, their family situation, or their academic success. The Power House provides opportunities for all teens who come into the building.
In order to provide the youth of our community with these opportunities, many resources are needed. The Power House relies upon the generosity of individuals, corporations, churches, and meritorious organizations to help youth develop self-worth, leadership skill, and positive expressions of themselves, impacting relationships, and compassion. Donations and volunteer hours are needed to provide vital programming for our members. Through the programs available at The Power House, these positive results are becoming a reality. PROJECT RECYCLE:
The Power House collects aluminum cans to raise funds to operate our Power Point program. You may help with this project by dropping off cans during business hours at our front desk or after hours in the collection can on the back porch. We appreciate your help!
